Crystal Fish offers the best sushi on the Monterey peninsula

Owner-chef Tamotsu Suzuki started Crystal Fish in July of 2005 hoping to realize his dream of owning his own restaurant. Since then, the team of talented chefs have been serving up the freshest sushi and sashimi, a variety of creative and fun sushi rolls, tasty fusion appetizers, and classic Japanese dishes such as udon, teriyaki, and tempura.
Crystal Fish is a great place to enjoy the fushion cuisine that California is known for in the form of our innovative sushi rolls and appetizers, but it is also a restaurant where you can experience authentic sushi the traditional Japanese way. Owner-chef Tamotsu Suzuki, a native of Tokyo, Japan, was trained as a chef in Japan and trains all of his sushi chefs in the traditional Japanese way, emphasizing selecting the best fish for our sushi and placing our customers first.
Offering our customers the freshest and most delicious fish that we can is important to us so we source our fish fresh from local fish markets and fishermen. After all, we are located next to the ocean! This attention to quality and to our customers has earned Crystal Fish the distinction of being voted the best sushi and Japanese restaurant in Monterey County by Monterey County Weeky Magazine for six years in a row.
